Bedside ultrasound imaging has become an integral aspect of emergency care over the past few decades. From resuscitation of trauma patients to evaluation of acute dyspnea, bedside imaging allows the clinician a rapid and often life-saving view of pathology. Clinicians, researchers and educators have continued to develop both diagnostic and procedural bedside imaging in order to improve patient care.
